SURABAYA – Semarang State Polytechnic (Polines) has once again made a proud achievement at the national level. In the 2026 National Welding Competition (NWC) held at the Surabaya State Shipping Polytechnic (PPNS) on 13–17 July 2026, the Polines team won 4th Overall Champion.
This achievement was even more encouraging because all the students who were Polines delegates managed to win in their respective categories and competition levels. Of the eight students sent, 100 percent succeeded in taking home awards in the national welding competition.
This success shows the quality and competence of Polines students in mastering advanced welding skills. Apart from that, this achievement is also proof of vocational students' readiness to compete and show their best abilities at the national level.
The achievements achieved by Polines students in the 2026 National Welding Competition include:
- Syaldila Virginia Cahya Kurnia – 1st Place Master (SMAW Plate 3G Student);
- Shotta Mahendra Dewanto Putra – 3rd place in Masters (SMAW Plate 3G);
- Bagas Hari Mukti – 3rd Place Master (GMAW Pipe 2G);
- Muhammad Algani Razak – 3rd Place (Expert, SMAW Pipe 2G);
- Indiar Romansyah – 1st Place Advance (SMAW Plate 2G);
- Putra Amanat Tulloh – 2nd place in Advance (SMAW Plate 3G.
- Rendi Dimas Indrasa – 2nd Competent Champion, SMAW Plate 3G.
- Nicolas Mauretio Mahaputera Gaspar – 1st Place Novice, SMAW Plate 3G.
This achievement is the result of hard work, discipline and intensive preparation carried out by the students before participating in the competition. Support and mentoring from a team of supervisors is also an important part in preparing students' strategies and technical abilities.
For this achievement, appreciation is given to all students and the team of supervisors who have contributed to making Polines proud at the 2026 National Welding Competition.
This achievement also strengthens Polines' commitment to producing vocational graduates who are competent, skilled, innovative and able to compete at the national level. This achievement is part of the Achievement Vocational spirit to continue to provide superior human resources who are ready to answer the needs of the industrial world. ang
