Two Polines Students Win the 2026 Panasonic Scholarship Worth IDR 22 Million

Jakarta — Two students from Politeknik Negeri Semarang (Polines) successfully secured the 2026 Panasonic Scholarship, as a form of support for outstanding students facing financial constraints in continuing their education.
The 2026 Panasonic Scholarship awarding ceremony was held at Panasonic Manufacturing Indonesia. In 2026, a total of 22 awardees received scholarships through the program.
The two Polines students selected as scholarship recipients are Adinda Massa Merah Lawan Tirani, a student of the Informatics Engineering Study Program, and Afin Bastian Nugroho, an Accounting Department student from the Applied Bachelor's Program in Islamic Banking.
The Panasonic Scholarship is a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program by Panasonic that focuses on human resource development through educational support for outstanding students who meet specific academic requirements and economic conditions. In Indonesia, the program is known as Panasonic Scholarship Asia. Since 2014, this program has been directed at providing support for students pursuing domestic education, as part of Panasonic's commitment to supporting educational and human resource development in the Asian region.
In 2026, the Panasonic Scholarship was open to students at the D3, D4, undergraduate (S1), and postgraduate (S2) levels. The educational assistance provided amounts to approximately IDR 22 million per year for D3/D4/S1 students and around IDR 32 million per year for S2 students. This assistance is generally disbursed in stages every quarter as long as the recipient is actively enrolled in their studies over a one-year period.
