44th Anniversary, Polines Strengthens Collaboration and Launches Various Innovations for Advanced Indonesia

SEMARANG – Semarang State Polytechnic (Polines) held an Open Senate Meeting to commemorate its 44th Anniversary at the Polines Multi-Purpose Building (GSG), Thursday (6/8/2026). Carrying the theme "Polines is Superior, Innovative and Impactful for Advanced Indonesia", this activity is a momentum for reflection as well as strengthening Polines' commitment to providing quality vocational education that is relevant to industry needs.
"Leadership is not a position at the top, but part of a line that maintains direction and maintains trust. Thank you to lecturers, education staff, students, alumni and all parties who have worked together with POLINES. One movement towards POLINES which is increasingly advanced, innovative and impactful," he said
On this occasion, Prof. Dr. Ir. Sri Suning Kusumawardani, S.T., M.T. as Director of Resources of the Directorate General of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, Technology and Technology, as well as Chair of the Polines Supervisory Board delivered a speech while appreciating the various advances of Polines as a vocational college which continues to improve its quality and contribution to the development of Indonesia's human resources.
The series of events also included a Scientific Oration by Dr. Mustika Widowati, S.E., M.Si. entitled "AL-KHAIR Reputation Transformation: A Model for Realizing Sustainable Organizational Performance". In his oration, he emphasized the importance of building an organization's reputation through responsible leadership, good governance, innovation, and services that provide sustainable benefits to society.
At this moment, Polines also gave awards to outstanding lecturers and educational staff as a form of appreciation for their dedication and contribution in advancing the institution.
Apart from that, Polines launched a number of innovations, namely the Polines Press, the Polines Website with a new look, the Polines PDA, and introduced the official Polines mascot "Janes" as part of strengthening the identity and digital transformation of the campus.
The Senate Open Meeting was also coupled with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Semarang City Government, Perum Bulog Central Java Regional Office, PT Jawa Tengah Lahan Andalan (Jatengland), the Semarang Branch of the Indonesian Economic Scholars Association (ISEI), and the Asia Small Business Federation (ASBF). It is hoped that this collaboration will further strengthen the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education through collaboration in the fields of education, research, community service, as well as developing innovation and human resources.
Through its 44th Anniversary, Polines confirmed its commitment to continue to be a superior, innovative and impactful vocational college, as well as producing graduates who are ready to compete and contribute to Indonesia's progress. ang
