Broadcast Basic Education (Pendas Siar) organized by UKM New PLBS FM is an effort to improve the quality of UKM New PLBS FM's own activities and increase student knowledge, because UKM is a means for students to organize and channel their interests, talents and abilities. In Basic Broadcasting Education itself, participants will be provided with basic knowledge from the world of broadcasting, such as increasing their confidence in speaking in public (public speaking) and trained to improve their soft skills to become a good radio broadcaster. This aims to ensure that future crew members can develop and practice directly in the world of broadcasting. The implementation of Basic Broadcast Education activities with the theme "Get Ready to Learn, and Let's the Game Begin" by UKM New PLBS FM was carried out on: day, date: Saturday – Sunday, 13 – 14 November 2021 time           : 08.00 – 14.05 WIB and 08.00 – 11.55 WIB Place          : Rehearsal Studio & Online via Zoom Cloud Meeting The 2021 Pendas Siar activities were carried out online with material on public speaking provided by Ms. Yana Mahendra (founder of "Bertutur" sharing space & public speaking course), broadcasting material by Ms. Raisya Amalia (announcer of 98.6 Elfara FM), session material by Ms. Adam Pratamaputra (Chair of the 2021/2022 BPM Legislative Body), and KBM Polines material by Ms. Fredy Catur (President of BEM KBM Polines) in the form of a webinar to prospective crew members. So that prospective crew can understand more about how to become a quality broadcaster with good public speaking, understand the world of broadcasting, procedures for holding meetings, and become more familiar with KBM Polines. - Broadcast Basic Education Activities with the theme "Get Ready to Learn, and Let's the Game Begin" by UKM New PLBS FM needs to be held because: Prospective New PLBS FM UKM Crew can get basic education which will be very useful in the future. - Can grow the confidence of prospective crew members so they are more courageous in speaking in public. - Improve the soft skills of prospective crew members so they can become good and professional broadcasters. - Add insight into prospective crew in the field of broadcasting and public speaking. - Mechanism for implementing Pendas Siar 2021 activities: After the material has been given, a question and answer session is provided for prospective crew members who are still confused. In the transition before the broadcasting material and after the broadcasting material there will be an ice breaking game of guessing the picture and guessing the song. Then the first day of Pendas Siar activities was closed by the MC. - On the second day, material was provided explaining work plans and committees with speakers from the crew as well as motivation control material by UKM New PLBS FM alumni in the form of a webinar. After the material has been given, a question and answer session is provided for prospective crew members who are still confused. At each turn in the explanation of the work plan, the results of the group introduction video assignment will be displayed. Then the winner was read and the closing of the 2021 Pendas Siar event by the MC. - - -
